The Praja Rajyam chief Chiranjeevi, who braved the summer sun to sweat it out in the campaign trail, is planning to take a trip to the United States to get away from it all.
“The megastar, who has been on a whirlwind tour of the state to ensure his fledgling party’s victory in the polls, is desperately seeking a break,” said a source in the Praja Rajyam. It is learnt that Chiranjeevi has been invited for a holiday in the US by his close friend, Mr Kumar, an NRI business tycoon there.
The PR chief may fly to the US at the end of this month or in the first week of May. “His tour schedule is not yet finalised,” said an aide of the megastar. “It will be decided in a few days. He needs a break to rejuvenate himself as it is first time that he has taken such extensive tours across the state.”
Chiranjeevi’s actor brothers, Nagendra Babu and Pavan Kalyan, are also planning to stay aloof from politics for the time being and relax for a while with their families. Since polls are over, both the brothers will now get back to their films.
“I will resume my film shootings now,” said Pavan Kalyan. “Shooting for the movie Komaram Puli was stopped abruptly as I got busy with poll campaign all these days.”
Other senior Praja Rajyam leaders such as Mr T. Devender Goud, Mr T. Sitaram and Mr Bhuma Nagi Reddy are also planning to go on holidays with their families.
Mr Goud is planning to visit Australia and New Zealand along with his family to relax for a week. “I am tired because of the continuous campaign,” said Mr Goud. “So I am planning a foreign tour.”
The leader couple of the party, Mr Bhuma Nagi Reddy and Ms Sobha Nagi Reddy, have also decided to fly abroad with their children.
