Indian National Congress which has comeout as largest winning party in loksabha election , did well in Andhra Pradesh assembly election 2009 also. Out of total 39 assembly seats , Congress won 17 seats. TDP - Telegudesham Pary lead by chandrababu naidu won 14 seats , Chiranjeevi's Prajarajyam party PRP won 3 loksabha seats and other small paries won 5 andhra pradesh assembly seats.
