Telugu Mahila president R.K. Roja and TDP general secretary M.A. Sharif said, it was “shameful” on the part of the two leaders who enjoyed different posts in the TDP to criticise Mr. Naidu. “How can leaders who cannot ensure victory of their candidates in producers’ council elections think of winning the general elections?” she questioned ridiculing the PR for promoting family rule in the party with party president Chiranjeevi giving all key posts to his relatives.
Mr. Sharif recalled the decades-long association the two leaders had with the TDP and advised Mr. Chiranjeevi not to believe them as “they can change colours sooner than later.” While Mr. Ramachandraiah used his MPLADS funds to benefit Congress sympathisers, Mr. Vidyadhara Rao did not allow the second rung leaders to get due recognition in the constituency he represented, he alleged
