Dasari's Satires On Chiranjeevi
Now, Dasari seems to be keen on pulling Chiru down at every given point and his fumes became stronger after Chiru has become the key opponent for the Congress party. Using the film medium as a tool, Dasari is said to be coming up with a film that might just be taking a dig at Chiru.
The film has been titled as 'Mestri' (maybe from Chiru's 'Mutha Mestri') and Dasari has already got Mohan Babu, Chiru's arch rival in it. Reports are coming in that Dasari has prepared a special satirical menu aimed at Chiru in the film and the shooting has been going on briskly. Let us see how Chiru would react to this one.
Balayya Putting Fire For Chiru Fans
Apparently, Balayya has been quite blatant about his stand for contesting for the Chief Minister position if given a chance and then also added that he would fight against his sister Purandareswari if the situation demands. Not stopping at that, he has now begun to pass few statements that are rubbing megastar Chiranjeevi's fans on the wrong side.
Incidentally, Chiru fans have been quite placid about the whole issue and they are said to be maintaining restraint due to orders from above. Everyone knows the nightmares actor Rajasekhar had to go for one wrong line of his. So one hopes that such things are put to rest and these prospective leaders focus on public welfare instead of hitting out at each other.
Apart from this, many say that Balakrishna has been talking irrelevant in his trademark style and not making any sense for public to turn their heads towards TDP.
Praja Rajyam hits back at Telugu Desam
HYDERABAD: The Praja Rajyam claims that Telugu Desam leaders were heckling it every stage as they were jittery about its growing popularity.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, senior PR leaders C. Ramachandraiah and Tammineni Sitaram took exception to the TDP’s allegation that their party had ditched the slogan of social justice and lacked clarity on the demand for separate Telangana as well as the government’s policy on Special Economic Zones.
They said the party was indeed committed to social justice and the same would be reflected in its election manifesto. On the other hand, it was the TDP that made a turnaround in its policies promising supply of rice free of cost, pensions and free power though it had ruled this out prior to 2004 elections.
Telangana issueThe PR was committed to separate Telangana and would welcome Statehood to the region. The TDP, however, lacked clarity on the Telangana issue as it strongly opposed the demand before 2004 and expressed support now. Moreover, it was trying to forge alliance with parties that had contradictory stands on separate Telangana. They also said the PR was not against industrial promotion but was opposed to acquisition of land in the name of SEZs.
PR can win majority on its own: Mitra
VIJAYAWADA: Praja Rajyam spokesperson P. Mitra on Sunday asserted that the party was in a position to get a comfortable majority on its own in the coming elections and there would be no need for alliances with any other party. He made it clear that there would be no truck with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at any point of time under any circumstances.
Replying to a question at a press conference here, Dr. Mitra said that the PR was not in the culture of blaming other political parties and that it would remain a secular and people-oriented one in letter and spirit.
“I don’t mean to comment on the BJP in this context. But all I can say is that our party will not have an alliance with that party in the next elections. We go to the polls with people’s support,” he said.
Dr. Mitra said there was an increased response to the public meetings of party president Chiranjevi even after ban on road shows by the High Court. “There is a groundswell of public support for the PR. People are voluntarily coming forward to take up responsibilities in the party. This affection will lead our party to victory,” he expressed confidence.
Dr. Mitra, who visited Guntur district earlier in the day, came here to hold a meeting with the active members of the party, so as to discuss various issues besides the aspect of constituting district and city committees. These committees would be announced in January and all care was being taken to avoid any misconceptions among the party enthusiasts and fans, he assured.
Congress, TDP join PR in Chandragiri
TIRUPATI: Leaders and activists of both TDP and Congress in Chandragiri constituency have joined Praja Rajyam in large numbers. The constituency is represented by Minister for Medical Education Galla Aruna as also, it is the home turf of TDP chief N.Chandrababu Naidu. PR leader Saikam Jayachandra Reddy, triggered the exodus by effectively playing the ‘social justice’ card, it is said.

Power Star Pavan v/s Shabbir ali : War of words heats up
It is the ongoing war of words between Energy Minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir and Yuvarajyam leader Pavan Kalyan that the public is laughing off.
Pavan Kalyan on Tuesday came down heavily upon the Congress government and its leaders, terming them as robbers who looted the poor and deprived them of their livelihood, apparently inviting the wrath of senior Congress leaders in the State. The actor-cum-politician even urged the public to “beat the Congress leaders black and blue” until they were undressed.
He even alleged that Ali Shabbir was an ‘ISI agent’.
Reacting sharply to Pavan Kalyan’s “loafer -like statements” , Ali Shabbir said the Congress leaders he was from a respectable family and was quite unfamiliar of the kind of cheap language that the actor used.
Speaking to the media from his office, Ali Shabbir accused Pavan Kalyan of marrying one woman and living with another.

Andhra politics have reached boiling brim.
On 30 th jan Pavan Kalayan, Chiranjeevi's younger brother from PRP party has called Congress state leaders as criminals and betrayers .Reacting to his word artillery, state Congress minister Shabbir Ali has called Pavan Kalyan as loafer and has poked at Pavan's personal life. He questioned Pavan's credibility as youth leader saying that he married one , left her and started living with someone else.He called Pavan kalyan a rowdy. Shabbir Ali even went further and asked if pavan has not got lesson from the head shaving session by Paritaala Ravi and asked "When his head was shaved where his macho power, his pride went ?".
Reacting to all these remarks, Pavan has told that he is not gonna react to the personal remarks . He simply asked if he is speaking loafer langauge then what is the language used by the minister.
Later congress party workers have surrounded PRP party office in hyderabad to protest against the comments made by Pavan Kalyan, which was retailed by PRP workers.
Pavan kalyan has always been an emotional person and has huge fan base in Andhra. To some extent what minister has said is true but his personal remarks will belittle Congress party's dignity and in particular the minister's image.

Speaking at various meetings organised as part of Praja Ankita Sabhas in Medak district today, the PRP chief alleged that corruption was rampant under the Congress regime.
Even in the DPEP scandal, they exonerated a person close to the Chief Minister and gave promotions, he alleged.
Citing the example of Lalbahadur Sastry, who had resigned owing moral responsibility for a train accident, Chiranjeevi opined that the present leaders had no moral values.
